Call for Submissions: "Bridging Scholar/Activist Divides in the Field of
Communications"

On May 22, 2008 there will be a half-day Pre-Conference on "Bridging
Scholar/Activist Divides in the Field of Communications" held in
conjunction with the International Communications Association
conference. Individuals or groups in academe, journalism, industry,
government, and civil society who are engaged with advocacy issues or
conducting research are encouraged to submit abstracts addressing
divides between research and advocacy in the field of communications.

"Case For Broadband in America Now!" Report Released

report on the state of broadband internet access in the United States.

Position Announcement: CLIP Leitner Fellow

The Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP) at Fordham Law School
seeks a Leitner Fellow for a one-year term (possibly renewable)
beginning in January 2008, to administer the activities of CLIP and to
