[Mediaresearchhub-News] International conference: Europeanization, welfare democracy

[SSRC media, communications, and information technology program announcements]

The Centre for Modern European Studies (CEMES) (in collaboration with  
and financed by Theme Pack 11: Welfare and Democracy) is hosting a  
three day conference on Europeanization, Welfare and Democracy at The  
University of Copenhagen, Southern Campus, from April 15 - April 17  
2009.

The conference is open for both senior researchers and ph.d.'s, and  
the conference will be paying for all expenses for speakers accepted  
for the conference. We are inviting to an interdisciplinary  
conference for both researchers from social science, the humanities  
and law.

The organising committee plan to publish a book based on the  
conference papers.

Deadline for abstracts or full papers to be considered for the  
conference should be sent to professor Ib Bondebjerg (mail:  
bonde at hum.ku.dk) no later than September 5, 2008.
